Mary’s passion for animals spans from childhood and continues
to this day. Her diverse background ranges from rescue, to foster home
and placement, and pet sitting. Mary’s vehicle is always equipped with
a collar, leash and treats for bait in the event she finds a stray in
need of being rescued. She’s a firm believer in puppy/obedience classes
and attended regularly with any new addition she brought into her home.
Aside from the canine variety, Mary has owned cats, a horse, a rabbit,
parakeets and a canary that didn’t sing. She also co-owned a “show”
dog, but circumstances changed (for the better) and he became her beloved
pet for 8 wonderful years.
Currently, Mary is the proud mom of a 13 ½ year old Rottweiler
named “Rudy”, whom she adopted at 8 weeks old from the Humane Society.
Rudy is the fourth Rottweiler she has owned over the years, and before
Rotties she owned Yorkies (go figure)!! She is also owned by a 10 year
old, short-haired cat named Mau and we hear that Mau rules!
