March 2007 article in Woodward Talk and the Troy Times:

A funny ending to this story... I called Susan Bellefleur to tell her Gryffin was now famous and that he was mentioned in our article.  Today I dropped a copy off for her.  I was told by her mother that "Susan will be so grateful for this because she ran out and got a copy of the article.  They were excited and cut it out and put it in the library where they have pictures of Gryffin...and then Gryffin ate it!!!" This is why we do what we do.  Who could not smile after hearing a tale like  that? And I joyfully received the response I got from an old colleague after the article ran...

"Hello Sherry, I read about you in the newspaper and just had to say hello.  It was so great to learn about your endeavors.  As I read about you, I fondly and respectfully recalled all the support you gave to the Taylor Teen Health Center.  I always enjoyed collaborating with you.  You were honest, creative, and insightful.  So it is nice to re-connect.  Give me a call sometime and perhaps we can meet for coffee or a walk...

Best to you,
Janice Fialka
Director
Taylor Teen Health Center"
