I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for finding Tara and having her walk Sysqo daily. She is very good with him and I can tell that he enjoys their walks. I have also noticed that since he gets walked twice a day (once with Tara and once with me when I get home from work), he is a lot calmer and more relaxed. Tara has been great!

We rescued our dog Sam from a shelter when she was about two years old. She had been a stray, and she was very apprehensive around new people and terrified of other dogs. These problems made boarding her very difficult. We just couldn’t bear to do it, and we weren’t sure what to do when we went on vacation.

Luckily, about three years ago, we met Sherry Mullins. Sherry takes care of Sam and our cat, Scout, whenever we travel. Sam and Scout are in their own environment, where they are the most comfortable, and Sherry is as familiar to our pets as a member of the family. Sherry loves our pets, and they love her right back. We never thought we would rest easily when we were out of town, but with our pets in Sherry’s care, we do.

We can’t always be there for Sam and Scout, but when we have to be out of town, it’s nice to know we can call on someone we trust — Your Furry Godmother.

Sherry Mullins has been our furry godmother for about 4 years. She tends to Mickey (our marmalade tabby) when we have to leave him.

Sherry's love of animals and her concern for their well-being is obvious in her careful attention to detail. Mickey has had some medical problems and Sherry has been vigilant with his treatment.

Sherry also goes beyond the call of duty by picking up the mail and tending to the house when needed.

Sherry Mullins has been looking after my cat Trillian since she became a diabetic two years ago. I go out of town quite a bit on the weekends and Sherry looks after Trillian while I am away. She also takes Trillian to her veterinary appointments and reminds me when she needs to go in.

I always know that Sherry will be there when she says she will be and I know that Trillian is getting her proper doses of insulin for her diabetes. There has never been a time that I have gone out of town that Sherry hasn't been available.

Most importantly, Sherry knew what to do when my cat got sick. Although Sherry did everything right, Trillian's diabetes took a turn for the worse. (Diabetic cats can do that.) Sherry knew exactly what to do and knew exactly where to take Trillian for emergency treatment. She called me to tell me what was going on while on her way to the hospital. Sherry saved my cat's life.

If you have a cat or a dog who needs care while you are away, or if you need some help giving injections or fluids, I would recommend Sherry wholeheartedly.

My cat Tee Tee is a diabetic and she needs to get insulin injections while I am away. Sherry Mullins has been taking care of Tee Tee for a year now and she has proven to be reliable, dependable, and a pleasure to deal with. My cat seems to like her too. Sherry gives insulin, food and water. She cleans the litter box and cat vomit. When we return home, we find a detailed note on how Tee Tee did while we were away. My cats love their Furry Godmother! Even though Dickens tries to hide to avoid having to swallow his daily pill, Sherry always finds him and makes sure he gets it. Teddy Bear is shy and wary of people, but he thinks she is swell and she even takes care of my plants while I’m gone. She always leaves a note (with candy!) to tell me how things went and makes sure I am home when I say I’ll be so that the cats don’t miss a meal! Sherry’s always there when I need her.

My last minute out of town excursions have become much less stressful now that I know I can call on "My Furry Godmother" to take care of my furry family - two cats and two dogs.  It is a lot less stressful for them as well, since they can continue to enjoy their favorite spots around the house to curl up for a nap, and no interruptions in watching "dog and cat TV" (that would be my front picture window) to keep an eye on the goings on in the neighborhood. In fact, you do such a nice job of checking on them, I'm beginning to think they hardly know I'm gone!

I have been utilizing the professional pet sitting services of Your Furry Godmother for approximately three years.  Sharon Mullins, the owner of the business, does an excellent job caring for my three cats. 

Sherry has been an extremely competent and trustworthy pet sitter.  The first thing she does prior to pet sitting for someone is to have an in-person interview with the potential client, and meet the pets.  She has a comprehensive contract that is reviewed together prior to signing.  

I have three cats.  Sherry spends one-half hour with them during each visit.  She feeds them, gives them fresh water, a couple treats, and takes care of the litter box.  She spends the reminder of the time playing with the cats.  I had a beautiful cat who had diabetes.  Sherry works in the veterinary field, so it gave me great peace of mind knowing that she would be able to give my precious cat the injections he needed twice per day.  On one occasion, my order of diabetic cat food hadn’t arrived prior to my leaving on vacation so Sherry stopped at the veterinary hospital and picked it up for me.  There was an occasion when my husband and I had to go out of town for a funeral, and my cat was in the hospital at the time.  Sherry stopped and visited with him several times during my absence. 

She has been very flexible regarding the hours that she is needed – mornings, evenings and weekends.  She plans her schedule according to the needs of the pets.

Sherry is also very responsible regarding needing to know exactly when the client will be returning home from vacation or a business trip.  One of her requirements is to have me call her as soon as I arrive home (right after saying hello to my cats, of course).  Even though she knows when I plan arrive, she assumes that I am not home until she hears from me.  This is a good precaution, ensuring my cats are cared for, in the event something should happen to delay my arrival.

In addition to pet sitting, Sherry also brings in the mail, waters plants (if needed), changes the lighting in various locations of the house, turns the radio on – and keeps water in our small fountain that the boys love!

I highly recommend Sharon Mullins to take care of your pets.
